Description of key information

A partition coefficient of 0.104 (log10 Pow -0.983) at 21.2 oC and pH 10.5 was determined for DEIPA. This value was corrected by calculation to be 0.0983 (log10 Pow -1.01) at pH 7 (Butler, 2012).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
-1.01
at the temperature of:
21.2 °C

Additional information

Using the shake flask method, equivalent to OECD guideline 107 and in compliance with GLP, a partition coefficient of 0.104 (log10 Pow -0.983) at 21.2 oC and pH 10.5 was determined for DEIPA. This value was corrected by calculation to be 0.0983 (log10 Pow -1.01) at pH 7 (Butler, 2012).
