Description of key information

The dissociation constant (pKa) of DEIPA was determined to be 8.24 at a sample concentration of 0.01 M and at 20oC (Butler, 2012).

By using the titration method, equivalent to OECD test guideline 112 and in compliance with GLP, the dissociation constant (pKa) of DEIPA was determined to be 8.24 at a sample concentration of 0.01 M and at 20oC (Butler, 2012).

NICNAS (2009) noted that DEIPA "will be ionised in the environmental pH range of 4-9" (based on an estimated pka of 8.43).
