Conclusion on classification

The results from aquatic toxicity studies are as follow:

- Short-term toxicity to fish. Key study: LC50 (96h) > 117 mg/L (basis for effect: mortality)

- Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates: Key study: EC50 (48h) > 117 mg/L (basis for effect: mobility)

- Toxicity to aquatic algae: Key study: EC50 (72h) = 103 mg/L (95% CL: 84 -117 mg/L) and NOEC (72h) = 37 mg/L (basis for effect: growth rate)

- Toxicity to microorganisms: Key study: NOEC (28d) = 22.5 mg/L (basis for effect: no inhibition of microbial activity).

Based on the results from the aquatic toxicity tests, the substance is not classified for aquatic toxicity in accordance with CLP Regulation (EC) no. 1272/2008.
