The results from the read-across approach are expressed on the basis of the amount of MPKO generated from the hydrolysis reaction of OS2600 and their molecular weights. The amount of MPKO was estimated using the assumption that 1 mole of the target substance OS2600 produces 3 moles of MPKO. No other adaptions are necessary.

Conclusions:
Based on the read-across approach from the analogue MPKO, the 96h-EC50 of OS2600 in Rainbow trout was determined to be >117 mg/L. The NOEC was 117 mg/L since no mortality or signs of toxicity were observed for 96 hours.
Executive summary:

A Fish, acute toxicity test was performed on the analogue substance MPKO in accordance with OECD Guideline 203. The 96h-LC50 was determined to be >100 mg/L. Based directly on the test observations the 96h-NOEC was determined to be 100 mg/L and the 96 hour LOEC was >100 mg/L. Based on these results, the read-across was applied and the 96h-EC50 and 96h NOEC of OS2600 in Rainbow trout was estimated to be >117 mg/L.
