Additional information

The key value is determined according to OECD Guideline 104 / EU Method A.4 using the effusion method (Atwal, 2012). In general, this property gives an indication of the probability of the phase transitions liquid/gas and solid/gas. The quantity of substance leaving a cell per unit time through an aperture of known size is determined under vacuum conditions in such a way that return of the substance into the cell is negligible. The final result was calculated based on linear regression analysis. In another study, the gas saturation method (in accordance to identical Guidelines) was applied to determine the vapour pressure at 4.3, 23.0 and 35.2 °C (Ziegenfuss, 1990).
