Additional information

Assessment of the toxicokinetic behaviour of 2VP was undertaken to the extent that can be derived from the relevant available information. Critical data included is low molecular weight, high water solubility and low octanol/water partitioning. These data suggest that 2VP is likely to be absorbed via the gastrointestinal tract, distributed in the water compartment of the body, and excreted via the kidneys with or without metabolism.  At the least, phase II conjugation enzymes may act upon absorbed 2VP. Bioaccumulation and deposition in fat or breast milk is not likely.
