Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
At pH 4, half-life times are 3.56 hours and 15.9 hours at 80C and 70C, respectively. From these values the half-life time at pH 4 and 25C was calculated to be 46659 hours (5.3 years).
At pH 7, half-life times are 3.37 hours and 14.5 hours at 80C and 70C, respectively. From these values the half-life time at pH 7 and 25C was calculated to be 34361 hours (3.9 years).
At pH 9, half-life times are 13.1 hours and 62.7 hours at 70C and 55C, respectively. From these values the half-life time at pH 9 and 25C was calculated to be 2310 hours (0.3 years).
Executive summary:

The determination of the hydrolysis as a function of pH was based on the EEC-Directive 92/69 EEC, Part C, Methods for the determination of Ecotoxicity, C.7: "Abiotic degradation: Hydrolysis as a function of pH".
