Additional information

Two screening tests for read biodegradation (closed bottle test) were performed for HFC 227ea (Katsuure, 1993 and Teufel 1992). In both cases HFC 227ea resulted as not readily biodegradable. No information is available regarding biodegradation in sediment and soil. However, This is information is considered as not relevant due to the expected very low partitioning of HFC 227ea into soil and sediments.
