Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Based on the results of a static test with the zebrafish (Danio rerio) following OECD 203, the 96h LC50 was determined to be 1.5 mg/L (nominal, geom. mean; BASF AG, 1998, report no. 17F0405/915125). The test was performed under GLP, the validity criteria were fulfiled.

The test concentrations were analytically monitored. The initially detected concentrations were in the range of 0.0 - 14.0% and after about 96 hours at 0.0% of the nominal concentrations. Based on a mean initial recovery of 9.4%, the 96-h LC50 was estimated to be 0.14 mg/L.

However, based on expert judgement (BASF SE, 1995) the target item is concluded to decompose in aqueous media; therefore the evaluation is based on nominal values (96h LC50 = 1.5 mg/L).
