Description of key information

The melting point is the temperature at which the phase transition of a substance takes place from the solid to the liquid phase and it is expressed in °C. Samples for the measurement were prepared while the substance was solid. The melting point is reported as the mean of the three determinations.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
38.4 °C
