Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion

Applicant's summary and conclusion

The substance has been evaluated to possess no oxidizing and no explosive properties, based on structural features (see endpoints 4.14 and 4.15). The substance is not an organic peroxide. The substance is determined to be not flammable by ignition (see endpoint 4.13). Based on the TGA/DSC experiments (see endpoint 4.2) and the flammability tests (see endpoint 4.13) the substance is not expected to be thermally unstable. Furthermore, the substance does not contain chemical groups indicating self-reactive properties (see Table A6.2 in UN ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.5: Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, Appendix 6 "Screening procedures" (2009)).

Based on all information, it was concluded that the substance does not have to be classified for the CLP hazard class 'self-reactive substances' and testing for self-reactivity is not required.
