Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Effect concentration:
83 mg/L

Additional information

There were no mortalities or other significant adverse effects observed in a group of l0 fish exposed to a mean measured concentration of 83 mg/l for 96 hours (see Table 1). All results are expressed in terms of mean measured concentration. Measured concentrations ranged from 77-78 % of nominal at 0 hours. 87-88 % of nominal at 24 hours and 8l-84 % of nominal at 96 hours.

Analysis of the mortality data gave the following results:

 Time (h) LC50 (mg/L) 95% confidence limits (mg/L)
 3  >83  -
  >83  -
 24   >83  -
 48   >83  -
 72   >83
 96   >83  -

Highest test concenrrarion resulting in 0% mortality : > 83 mg/l

Lowest test concentrarion resulting in 100% mortality: > 83 mg/l

"No observed effect level" : > 83 mg/l

Environmental parameters (pH, T°C and mgO2 remained within acceptable limits throughout the duration of the study:

Nominal concentration (mg/l)    Measured concentration (mg/l)        Mean values
 pH  mgO2/l  T°C
 Control  Control  7.6  8.6  14
 110  83  7.7  8.6  14
