Test concentrations in the range of 7.06 and 21.2 mg/L of bis(2-ethylhexyl) tetrabromophthalate (BEHTBP) did not affect hepatocyte viability.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- Test concentrations in the range of 7.06 and 21.2 mg/L of bis(2-ethylhexyl) tetrabromophthalate (BEHTBP) did not affect hepatocyte viability.
- Executive summary:
In this study in vitro effects of bis(2-ethylhexyl) tetrabromophthalate (BEHTBP) with respect to hepatic mRNA expression in chicken embryos (Gallus gallus domesticus) was investigated. In the the study primary cultures of chicken embryonic hepatocytes (CEH) were used. It was reported that test concentrations in the range of 7.06 and 21.2 mg/L of bis(2-ethylhexyl) tetrabromophthalate (BEHTBP) did not affect hepatocyte viability.
