PBT assessment

Administrative data

PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

PERSISTENCE ASSESSMENT

The registration substance is not readily and not inherently biodegradable (IUCLID Chapter 5.2.1). Therefore the 'vP' criteria of the vPvB / PBT Assessment is fulfilled.

BIOACCUMULATION ASSESSMENT

The registration substance has a measured Log Kow of 3.6 (see IUCLID Chapter 4.7). .Therefore the 'B' criteria for the vPvB / PBT Assessment is not fulfilled.

TOXICITY ASSESSMENT

The NOEC reproduction (21d) Daphnia of 1.25 mg/L is the lowest chronic toxicity value for the registration substance (see IUCLID Chapter 6.1.) and therefore the 'T' criteria for the vPvB / PBT Assessment is not fulfilled on the basis of aquatic ecotoxicity. But it is proposed to classify the registration substance toxic to reproduction e.g. according DSD 67/548/EEC T, Repro Cat. 2 (see IUCLID Chapter 7.8.19. Based on this classification for human health effects the 'T' criteria for the vPvB / PBT Assessment is fulfilled.
