Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance exhibits a low log Pow (<3) and is present as aqueous solution. A low vapour pressure of the substance is expected based on the outcome of QSAR calculation conducted for the main constituents of the substance. Since test substance contains ethanol in the concentration range of 0.06 - 9.9% and exists only under aqueous conditions, the vapour pressure of ethanol and water should be considered. The vapour pressure of ethanol (VP: 7906 Pa at 25 °C) is the highest of all constituents. According to the theoretical principle of Raoult's law, the vapour pressure of a mixture should be lower than the vapour pressure of its component which has the highest vapour pressure in its pure form. Thus the vapour pressure of the test substance is considered to be < 7906 Pa at 25 °C. However, due to the low log Pow (<3) and the presence as aqueous solution, water is expected to be the main target compartment for environmental distribution for the substance.
