Description of key information

The vapor pressure of cis,trans,trans-1,5,9-cyclododecatriene was measured at temperatures between 104 and 237.5 °C leading to a regular vapor pressure curve. Experimental details have not been reported. A value of 0.1222 hPa at 20 °C was obtained by least squares-fit of a Clausius Clapeyron curve and extrapolation.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
12 Pa
at the temperature of:
293.15 K

Additional information

Information from two independent sources is available and shows good agreement. The Shell material appears to have a slightly higher vapor pressure and lower boiling point than the Evonik Degussa material, which may be due to differences in cis/trans isomer composition.
