Additional information

The acute toxicity tests performed with phosphoric acid, potassium salt (2:3), dihydrate showed no effects of this substance up to a concentration of 100 mg/L. Since the substance dissociates rapidly in water, being transformed basically into phosphate and potassium components, toxicity to aquatic microorganisms is not expected as both elements are part of standard testing bacterial growth mediums. Due to the unstable nature of the substance in water and the lack of toxicity found in the acute tests, long-term toxicity testing in aquatic organisms is deemed not necessary.
