Description of key information

Phosphoric acid, potassium salt (2:3), dihydrate dissociates completely in water

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, Annex XI, testing may be omitted if it appears scientifically unnecessary. The decomposition of phosphoric acid, potassium salt (2:3), dihydrate by reaction with water occurs immediately after contact with the aqueous medium (complete dissociation of the dissolved salt takes place in water). Considering this information, hydrolysis testing is not deemed necessary.
