Description of key information
The test item Reaction mass of CXN1-55 had no acute toxic effects on zebra fish up to the nominal concentration of 48 mg/L.

In a valid, reliable and conclusive study, the acute toxicity of the test item Reaction mass of CXN1-55 to zebra fish (Danio rerio) was determined in a 96-hour static test according to the EU Commission Directive 92/69/EEC, Part C.1, the Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Part C.1 and the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals No. 203 (1992).
A limit test was performed in accordance with the threshold approach (based on the Guidance on Information Requirements and Chemical Safety Assessment, ECHA (2008)).
The measured concentration of the test item Reaction mass of CXN1-55 in the test medium of the test concentration of 48 mg/L was 101 % of the nominal value at the start of the test and 105% at the end of the test. Thus, the correct dosing of the test item Reaction mass of CXN1-55 was confirmed. The test item was stable in the test media over the test period of 96 hours. The biological results were related to the nominal concentrations of the test item.
In the control and at the test concentration of 48 mg/L no mortality or other visible abnormalities were determined at the test fish during the test period of 96 hours.
The summary of the biological results (based on nominal test item concentration) is as follows:
