Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:

Additional information

According to Regulation (EC) No. 1907 (2006), Annex VIII, column 2 (section 9.3.1), the study needs not be conducted if based on the physicochemical properties the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption (e.g. the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient), or the substance and its degradation products decompose rapidly. Both specifications are applicable for the test substance. Therefore, the study on adsorption/desorption shall be waived. A Koc value was calculated with the QSPR equation proposed by Gerstl (1990), which is: log Koc = 0.679 * log Kow + 0.094, since the Koc value is necessary for the calculation of environmental concentrations.
