Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Based on REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex IX, column 2, the study on toxicity to terrestrial organisms does not need to be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. The test substance is readily biodegradable and direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is considered to be unlikely. Additionally, the potential of the test item to adsorb to soil is low. Therefore, studies on toxicity to terrestrial organisms can be waived, and studies on toxicity to terrestrial organisms do not need to be conducted.
