PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Persistence:

No biodegradation was observed in two available guideline studies on ready biodegradability. Thus, it is assumed that the substance fulfills the (v)P criteria.

Bioaccumulation:

Experimental OECD 305 BCF study revealed a BCF of 530 - 560 (normalised to 5% lipid content 690 - 729). Substance is therefore not (v)B.

Toxicity:

The substance is not classified as CMR or classified with respect to its repeated dose toxicity properties. The substance has no long-term EC10/NOEC for aquatic organisms =< 0.01 mg/L and the acute LC/EC50 are > 0.1 mg/L. Therefore, the T criterion is not fulfilled.

Conclusions:

The substance is not PBT / vPvB.
