Conclusion on classification

Based on the available information, the substance is not readily biodegradable and not potentially bioaccumulable. Reliable acute toxicity tests are available on the three trophic levels, showing physical effect (osmotic shock) for daphnia, but no toxic effect up to 100 mg/L with all organisms tested. Chronic toxicity tests are available for algae and daphnia, both showing NOEC values equal or above 100 mg/L.

Therefore, according to the Regulation (EC) No 286/2011 (2nd ATP of CLP), the substance should be considered as not classified as hazardous to the aquatic environment. But the official classification applies.
