Additional information

Ethylene glycol propyl ether is readily biodegradable (100% mineralisation in a BOD (APHA) test after 20 days). Based on this result, Ethylene glycol propyl ether will biodegrade rapidly in surface water. Sorption to particles is minimal and further fate testing in sediment or soil is not indicated.
