Description of key information

As per non-GLP study similar to OECD 113, a sudden weight loss corresponding to an endothermic peak at 172ºC was observed.

Additional information

The sample starts to lose weight around 125ºC and has lost 0.4% of its weight by 150ºC. 43.3% of the sample remains at 500ºC. There is an endothermic event peaking at 172ºC. There is a sudden weight loss corresponding to the endothermic peak at 172ºC

Justification for classification or non-classification

A benign weight loss and endothermic peak at 172`C do not constitute grounds for a hazard classification.
