Description of key information

The melting point of the substance has been measured as 2.42 degrees Centigrade

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
2.42 °C

Additional information

One melting point study is available for the substance: a GLP study, conducted according to OECD Guideline 102/EU Method A1.

The test material was cooled to -78.7ºC in a mixture of dry ice and isopropanol until the test article was fully frozen, left undisturbed, to allow the Test Article to warm naturally in ambient temperature. The melting temperature range was observed from -50 to 2ºC and the melting point

temperature was determined to be 2.42ºC.
