First-aid measures

Although the substance is not classified, we recommend the following measures in case of accident or exposure to the substance.

General advice: In the case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible). Move out of dangerous area. Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.
Following inhalation: If breathed in, move person into fresh air.
Following skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water.
Following eye contact: Immediately flush eye(s) with plenty of water
Following ingestion: If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.

Fire-fighting measures

Use water spray to cool unopened containers. Observe standard procedure for chemical fires. Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to
local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Please observe escape and rescue routes!

Suitable extinguishing media: Alcohol-resistant foam, Dry powder, Carbon dioxide(CO2), Water spray jet
Unsuitable extinguishing media: High volume water jet
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: No special hazards identified

Specific hazards during fire-fighting: In case of fire Carbon dioxide and Carbon monoxide are formed.

Special protective equipment for firefighters: In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Wear personal protective equipment. Unprotected persons must be kept away. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Environmental precautions: Avoid release to the environment. Contain contaminated water/firefighting water. Prevent spread over a wide area (e.g. by containment or oil barriers).
Methods for cleaning up: Pick up with liquid binding materials and if necessary fill in containers capable of being locked. Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly,
observing environmental regulations. Dispose of absorbed material in accordance with the regulations.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling:
Avoid contact of the substance. Avoid formation of aerosols. Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Product should be worked up in closed equipment as far as possible.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Normal measures for preventive fire protection. Keep away fromheat and sources of ignition. Take measures to prevent the build up of electrostatic charge.

Hygiene measures:
General industrial hygiene practice. Keep away from food and drink. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed
out of the workplace. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday. Please thoroughly clean and care for the skin after finishing work.

Requirements for storage areas and containers:
Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store in original container. Protect from heat and direct sunligh. Do not store or transport
together with foodstuffs

Exposure controls / personal protection

Although the substance is not classified, we recommend the following precautionary measures:

Eye protection: Depending on the risk, wear sufficient eye protection (safety glasses with side protection or goggles)
Hand protection Chemical restistant protection gloves. Suitable: Nitrile and Butyl rubber gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Gloves should be discarded and replaced if there is any indication of degradation or chemical breakthrough.
Gloves must be rinsed thoroughly after use.
Body protection: Long armed woeking suit. Choose additional body protection in relation to its type, to the concentration and amount of substance, and to the specific workplace.
Respiratory protection: Use respirator when performing operations involving potential exposure to vapour of the product. Respiratory protection complying with DIN EN 14387. Multi-purpose filter ABEK.
Protective measures: Do not breathe vapours, aerosols or mists. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.

Stability and reactivity

No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use. Stable if handled and stored correctly. No dangerous reactions are known.
Avoid strong acids, bases and oxidizing substances. Keep away from sources of ignition.

Disposal considerations

This material and its container should be disposed of as hazardous waste. Observe local regulations. Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as the product.
