Conclusion on classification

Short-term toxicity to fish: 96h-LC50 was determined to be 91 mg/L.

Short-term toxicity to daphnia: 48-hour EC50 values was estimated to be >100 mg/L.

Toxicity to algae: The estimated 72 hour ErC50 was >100 mg/L, the NOEC at 72 hours is 31 mg/L.

Toxicity to microorganisms: The EC50 after incubation for 3h was >1000 mg/L.

Lowest LC50/EC50 is 91 mg/L for fish, adequate chronic toxicity data are not available.

Considering the substance is readily biodegradable, therefore according to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, amendment 286/2011, table 4.1.0, this substance shall not be classified for hazardous to the aquatic environment.
