Description of key information

With high probability sodium prop-2-enesulphonate is acutely not harmful to fish.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to OECD guideline 203 a toxicity test with the Zebra fish Danio rerio was conducted [BASF AG, 1994]. The measured LC50 (96h) value was approx. 4500 mg/L and the NOEC was 2050 mg/L sodium prop-2-enesulphonate.
