Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Melting range : - 79.9°C to -71.5°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-80 °C

Additional information

The determination was performed in duplicate in a guideline and GLP study. An exact determination was not possible because the start of the melting process of the test item was too close to the limit of the test system. The melting range is found to be -79.9°C to -71.5°C. The resulting uncertainty in melting range is considered as not critical for the assessment of the test item's behaviour in the environment. A value of -80°C will be used for the chemical safety assessment.
