Additional information

In a 21 days long term toxicity test, Daphnia magna were exposed to ITC 826 Concentrate at nominal concentrations of 0 – 0.064 – 0.20 – 0.64 – 2.0 and 6.4 mg (concentrate) /L.

The study was performed according to OECD guideline 202, part 2 (Daphnia sp., Reproduction Test). The OECD Guideline 211 was adopted in 1998, September 21st. There is no difference between OECD Guideline 202 and 211 for the reproduction part. The study carried out with ITC 826 is according to OECD Guideline 211 without deviation.

The results : based on ITC826 excluding water (about 14%):

- EC50(reproduction) 21 days = 0.87 mg concentrate /L [0,45 – 1,7]based on time-weighted mean

- NOEC (reproduction) 21 days = 0.64 mg/L

- EC50(immobilisation) 21 days = 0.86 mg concentrate /L [0,83 – 0,89]based on time-weighted mean

- NOEC (immobilisation) 21 days = 0.64 mg/L
