Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Acute toxicity of MHHPA was assessed from read across approach data available for the structural analogue 4-MHHPA as similar chemical and ecotoxicological properties were assumed. Acute immobilisation to Daphnia magna has been investigated according to OECD/EU test methods and a limit concentration 100 mg/L 4-MHHPA. Due to the fast degradation of the test substance, the degradation product, Hexahydro - 4 Methylphthalic Acid was analysed. No effects as a result of exposure were observed.
