Description of key information

A study for the endpoint 'partition coefficient' has not been performed for manganese bis(dihydrogen phosphate). An adaptation from the standard testing regime is justified on the following basis:
According to Annex VII, section 7.8, column 2 of Regulation No. 1907/2006, the partition coefficient n-octanol/water does not need to be assessed for inorganic chemicals. Manganese bis(dihydrogen phosphate) is an inorganic chemical and therefore the partition coefficient n-octanol/water is not required for this substance.

Additional information

The Kd value of 1,200 (as quoted in the dossier) was used in place of the Kow for the purposes of environmental fate modelling. Also, the substance has been assigned the category “non-hydrophobic“ when performing environmental fate modelling.
