Description of key information

No endothermic peak corresponding to melting of the test substance was recorded in the tested temperature range from -70°C to 25°C. Both on the cooling and heating curves, only glass transition regions are detectable.
Glass transition temperature of the test substance, Dibuthyl phthalate is –67.2°C, i.e. 205.9K. Extended uncertainty of determination is ± 0.9K. Extended uncertainty was calculated by using a coverage factor of 2.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-67.2 °C
