Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The boiling point range for unrefined/acid treated oils is 210 to 800°C (CONCAWE, 2010a; CONCAWE 1997). The boiling point was determined using the EN 15199 test method.

Supporting read-across data from other lubricant base oils (materials similar in structure and physico-chemical properties to unrefined/acid-treated oils) has also been reported. Other lubricant base oils have boiling points ranging from about 300 to 800°C (CONCAWE, 1997).
