Description of key information

Additional information

52% biodegradation of mixed LOF (41 mg/L) was observed after 28 d in an OECD 301F ready biodegradability test, indicating the substance is inherently biodegradable.

74% biodegradation was observed in a read-across substance (light catalytically cracked naptha) in an ISO/DIS 14593 test with an adapted innoculum.

Predicted and confirmatory experimental primary half-lives in water, soil, and sediment compartments for the parent constituents and the associated PBT assessment for the predicted metabolites identified, indicate that the substance is not persistent, and as such simulation studies in soil or sediment would not provide additional information as to the PBT/vPvB properties of the substance or its metabolites.
