- Range of aspect ratio (:1):

- Additional information:
- The boundary composition reflects LAPONITE Type 1 and the Barrier Silicate both in powder form. In powder form both compositions consist of powder granules. The powder granules are micro-sized particles. Hence the percentile and the lateral dimension are presented in micrometer.
The aspect ratio is the result from the lateral dimension (>=1 <=200 micrometer) divided by the thickness (1nm).
Lateral dimension and aspect ratio of powder form: The size of the particles in powder form is mainly controlled by the characteristics of the milling process and may range from ~1µm to ~200µm with widely variable aspect ratio.
Because the boundary composition reflects the aggregated powder form the "fraction of constituent particles in the size range 1-100 nm" is < 1 %. - Fraction of constituent particles in the size range 1-100 nm:
- > 0 - < 1 %
