Additional information

Salt reaction of cobalt(2 +) and C3/C10 carboxylates does not contain any chemical groups that might lead to spontaneous ignition when in contact with air or water. Furthermore, long-term industrial experience in practical handling of the substance shows no reaction in air or water. Last but not least, conclusion is no flammability for Cobalt Stearate (EC metthod A.10; RL 1), and cobalt(II) is in the same state and the carboxylates of Salt reaction of cobalt(2 +) and C3/C10 carboxylates are less suceptible to any form of oxidation than stearic acid.
