Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One experimental study investigating the short-term toxicity of Reaction mixture of Glycerol 1,3- di(acetate), glycerol acetate and triacetin to marine invertebrates is available (Manley, 2002). The study was conducted according to ISO 14669:1999(E) under GLP conditions using the marine copepod Acartia tonsa. Five concentrations up to a maximum of 2000 mg/L (nominal) were tested in a static exposure regime. The maximum concentration of 2000 mg/L did not result in any effects on mobility of A. tonsa after 48 h. Therefore, an EC50 of > 2000 mg/L was derived.
