Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No experimental studies investigating the adsorption/desorption potential of Reaction mixture of Glycerol 1,3- di(acetate), glycerol acetate and triacetin are available. Because the substance is a composition of different homologues, the adsorption/desorption potential was calculated for the different components using KOCWIN v2.00 (Müller, 2011). Calculations with KOCWIN v2.00 for the different components, resulted in log Koc values of 0 - 1.61 (MCI), indicating that the components have a low potential to adsorb to organic soil and sediment particles. Based on the results of the representative components, it can be concluded that Reaction mixture of Glycerol 1,3- di(acetate), glycerol acetate and triacetin has a low potential for adsorption.
