PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

A substance is identified as a PBT substance, if it is regarded as persistent and bioaccumulative and toxic. Likewise, a substance is identified as a vPvB substance if it is regarded as very persistent and very bioaccumulative.

Conclusion on P / vP properties:

The substance has been shown to be readily biodegradable (OECD 301 B), so it is not a P nor a vP substance, thus not P/vP.

Conclusion on B/vB properties

It has been found that the BCF of the substance is 123 L/kg. Therefore, the test substance is considered to be not bioaccumulable. The substance is neither a B nor a vB substance.

Conclusion on T properties:

As the substance does not meet the criteria for being P or B substance, no further assessment on toxicity is needed.

Likely routes of exposure:

Operational conditions and risk management measures:

The operational conditions and risk management measures put in place are reported in the exposure scenarios in section 9.

Residual releases:

The total release and emissions values are reported in section 9.

Likely routes by which humans and the environment are exposed:

Likely routes by which humans and the environment are exposed is reported in sections 9 and 10.

Justification of minimisation of emission/exposure:

The justification of the minimisation of emissions and (subsequent) exposures of humans and the environment is reported in sections 9 and 10.
