Internal study performed according to the dynamic methods described by OECD 104.

Results obtained were:
4 kPa at 36.9°C
8 kPa at 50.6°C
30 kPa at 79.3°C
50 kPa at 90.8°C


From these results, vapour pressure was calculated to be:
1.4 kPa at 20 °C
1.9 kPa at 25 °C

68.1 kPa at 100 °C

The measure is related to the Vapour Pressure of Water; indeed, glyoxylic acid as free acid gaz is not detectable at ambient temperature and under atmospheric pressure. Glyoxylic acid oligomerize when solution is concentrated and decomposes when heating at temperature above 150°C with loss of carbonic acid and water.
