The following Aquatic toxicity PNECs were derived for Vinyl 2 -ethyl hexanoate based on the available study data:
The Klimisch 1 acute FELS study conducted according to OECD 211 with GLP compliance and test substance concentration analytical determination is the most appropriate and reliable study on which to base the PNECs. The EC10 value for this study was 0.020 mg/L. Following ECHA guidance (RIP 3.2, Chapter R. 10) the Fresh water algae PNEC is 0.002 mg/L and the marine algae PNEC is 0.0002 mg/L.
