- Conclusions:
- DMPPA_701-402-5 show a weakly tendency to be adsorbed on sand (Koc = 176). Therefore, further desorption tests were minimal important. The obtained results for the desorption at loamy sand and sandy loam proof that less than 27 % of the total initially adsorbed amounts of DMPPA_701-402-5 were desorbed.
- Executive summary:
Adsorption and desorption of DMPPA_701-402-5 were determined on three different soils, namely a sand (soil A, LUFA 2.1), a loamy sand (soil B, LUFA 2.2), and a sandy loam (soil C, LUFA 2.3) for a chosen test concentration of 4.06 mg/l.. The obtained results show that the amounts of DMPPA_701-402-5 adsorbed by the chosen soils ranged from 19 % (soil A) to 89 Z (soil B). The Freundlich adsorption constants and their corresponding kQ C-values obtained were estimated as follows

Description of key information
The substance has a quite high organic carbon-water partitioning coefficient and is considered to have a weak tendency to be absorbed on soil.
The Koc values identified for different types of soil are:
A: sand (LUFA 2.1) : 176
B: loamy sand (LUFA 2.2): 2005
C: sandy loam (LUFA 2.3): 282
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Koc at 20 °C:
- 176
