Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test item is estimated to be smaller than 10E-6 Pa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method was chosen for the determination of the vapour pressure of L-arginine-HCl. Due to the test items properties (decomposition at high temperatures) the vapour pressure of the test item at 20°C (293K) cannot be determined with sufficient accuracy. The vapour pressure of the test item is estimated to be smaller than 10E-6 Pa, the lowest vapour pressure of the used reference items.
