Results and discussion

Flash point
Key result
Remarks on result:
not determinable, other reason:
Remarks:
No flash-point was observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or degradation of the test item occurred.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Preliminary test

It was visually observed that the test item reacted and/or degraded at approximately 150°C. No flammable vapour/air mixture was produced at temperatures below the temperature at which reaction and/or degradation of the test item occurred. From this, it was concluded that the test item has no flash point.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The closed cup method was applied for the determination of the flash-point of the test substance
No flash-point was observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or degradation of the test item occurred.

Executive summary:

In this guideline (EU A.9) study, conducted with GLP certification, the closed cup method was applied for the determination of the flash-point of the test substance.

No flash-point was observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or degradation of the test item occurred.
