Additional information:

(S)-1-(3-Methoxyphenyl)ethylamine (read across, CAS 82796-69-8) was tested for its sensitizing effect on the skin of the guinea pig in the Maximization Test based on the method of Magnusson and Kligman. The study was performed using one control group and one test group. Based on the results it was concluded, that (S)-1-(3-Methoxyphenyl)ethylamine showed a strong sensitizing potential. [BASF, 2008]
