Remark:The flash point was determined at 110.0 °C during the preliminary test and 111.0 °C during the main test. Due to safety reasons, the value of 110.0 °C was retained and was considered to be the flash point value of the test item.

Conclusion

The flash point of the test item was 110.0°C ± 1.0°C (corrected value).

Conclusions:
A flash point value of 110 °C at 1013 hPa was determined in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol, and in compliance with GLP.

Description of key information

[3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl]urea: 110°C at 1013 hPa (measured)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
110 °C

Additional information

A flash point value of 110°C (1013 hPa) was determined by equilibrium closed cup method according to EU Method A.9.
