Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Reference
Endpoint:
boiling point
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
08-18 Mar 2021
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 103 (Boiling Point)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.2 (Boiling Temperature)
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
differential scanning calorimetry
Remarks:
Since the specific boiling point is above the determination limits of the Siwoloboff and Cottrell meth-ods, only the DSC method remains. Therefore, the DSC method is also used for the main test.
Key result
Boiling pt.:
>= 351.5 - <= 428.02 °C
Remarks on result:
other: No atmospheric pressure was measured during the DSC measurement. This was uncritical as the atmospheric pressure should be only stated for information purpose. The deviation was assessed and signed by the study director on 07. Apr. 2021.
Conclusions:
The boiling point was determined via DSC (differential scanning calorimetry)

Based on the pre-test a boiling point was determined under these circumstances as the endothermic event.

The range of the event was detected with:
351.5 °C to a peak max of 428.02 °C (624.65 K to 701.17 K)
Executive summary:

The boiling point was determined via DSC (differential scanning calorimetry)
