STABILITY AND STORAGE CONDITIONS OF TEST MATERIAL
- Storage condition of test material: At room temperature at about 20 °C.
Surface tension:
68.4 mN/m
Temp.:
20 °C
Conc.:
1 000 mg/L

Conc. (incl. qualifier): CA 1000 mg/L

The instrument was calibrated using water and the test substance solution was measured in duplicates. The mean value is reported as result.

Conclusions:
The surface tension of the FAT 40571/A in water (at a concentration of about 0.1 %) was determined to be 68.4 mN/m.
Executive summary:

The surface tension test with FAT 40571/A in water (at a concentration of about 0.1 %) was carried out according to OECD 115 and EU A5 guideline using ring method. The calibration factor §b was determined to be 1.007 for double distilled water.

Based onthe study results surface tension of FAT 40571/A was determined to be 68.4 mN/m at 20.0 °C ± 0.1 °C. Based on the criteria as outlined in the OECD Guideline, the test substance should not be regarded as a surface active substance.

Description of key information
